Climate science is the backbone of heated debate on issues around climate change conventions. When combined with diplomacy capacity, party’s negotiators and delegates of the treaty and related policies and measures will be well equipped to influence the process.
Having completed the program, ones would have the capacity to use climate science as a soft power to advance diplomatic objectives, e.g. for building bridges between nations, public or private entities, and creating goodwill on which diplomatic relations can be built.
